On Monday, fire trucks and people in hazmat suits were seen outside Donald Trump Jr.’s home in Jupiter, Florida.
The reason? According to three sources, the former president’s namesake son received a letter containing an unidentified white powder inside.

What was the dust?
The Daily Beast reports: “Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, received the letter and opened the envelope, letting the white powder spill out, according to one of the sources. The Jupiter Police Department did not respond to a request for comment.”
The story continued:
A representative for the former president’s son said it was unclear what exactly the substance was, but confirmed that Trump Jr.’s life did not appear to be in danger.
“Test results on the substance were inconclusive as to what exactly it was, but officials at the scene do not believe it is deadly,” a spokesperson for Trump Jr. said.
Included in the envelope was a bizarre note, referring to John F. Kennedy’s alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, other members of the Trump family, and the Soviet Union.

Not the first time
“It’s become a little too common for things like this to happen,” Donald Trump Jr. told the conservative Daily Caller newspaper.
Don Jr. said it was the second time he had been sent an envelope containing white powder.
“This is the second time a left-wing lunatic has sent me a death threat with white powder,” he told MXM News, his news outlet. “If this happened to a prominent Democrat twice, there would be congressional hearings, but because my last name is Trump, the media would be gone in a day. The hatred that the left has for my family knows no limits.”
He’s right. If this had happened to Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer, this incident would have received much more coverage, with Democrats likely claiming that Trump’s mere presence is a threat to democracy and an inspiration to terrorists.
But this is Donald Trump Jr., so expect this news to pass soon.
If Donald Trump senior wins in November, the “experts” will ask why. This would be just a small reason.
Many voters no longer trust the establishment because they see too many double standards. This is just another example.
