Greene filed a motion to vacate against Johnson.
Before the vote, Greene complained on the House floor about the government funding bill:
No Republican in good conscience can vote for the one-party minibus.
This is not a Republican bill. This is a Democrat-controlled Chuck Schumer bill coming out of the “Republican-controlled” House.

Greene has threatened President Johnson for months, but House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries has opened the door to potentially bail out Johnson on a vacate motion if he agrees to vote on aid for Ukraine, Democrats would not vote as a caucus to keep Johnson , but Jeffries would probably allow members to vote their conscience, which would give some Democrats in red districts the freedom to vote to keep Johnson alive, and that would probably be enough to save him.
The vacate motion would send the House back into chaos, but that appears to be what will happen as Greene’s allies are telling reporters to “tune in” on the Chamber floor.
Things could get very interesting in the House.
