Representative. Marjorie Taylor Greene has chosen to take a different approach regarding the future of Speaker’s leadership Mike Johnson.
On Saturday, Greene told reporters that she would consult with her House Republican colleagues to listen to their constituents before deciding whether to proceed with a vote to remove him, CNBC noted.
This disclosure followed the House passing several key bills during an unusual Saturday session. Bills addressed in this session included aid to Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel, as well as a provision that could result in TikTok being banned under certain conditions in relation to its parent company, ByteDance, a Chinese company.

Greene has not yet acted on a motion she made in March to force Johnson’s removal from the speaker’s office.
“I don’t support Mike Johnson, he’s already a lame duck,” Greene told reporters.
Meanwhile, the passage of the Ukraine aid bill on Saturday prompted some House members to applaud and wave Ukrainian flags, an act that Greene and Johnson both viewed critically.
“We should only fly one flag in the House, and I think we know which flag that is,” Johnson said.
While these bills pass the Senate under majority leadership Chuck Schumer (D-NY), anticipation is growing regarding their potential passage into law.
Schumer suggested the Senate could consider them as early as Tuesday, marking a crucial step in their legislative process that will ultimately depend on the President Joe Bidenapproval.
