Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly is speaking out this week to criticize the media narrative that Vice President Kamala Harris is only unpopular because of her skin color and gender.

Kelly rings out

During her eponymous SiriusXM show this week, Kelly responded to an opinion piece written by New York Times (NYT) columnist Ezra Klein, who said that Harris would be “underrated” as President Joe Biden’s replacement if she were to retreat. the 2024 presidential elections.

Kelly was quick to dismiss Klein’s suggestion that Harris’ “problems on the public stage” were due to her being a woman of color.

“I’ve overcome my feminine aspect of not being cautious, careful and measured – it’s amazing that I’ve overcome that, despite all the estrogen raging in my body,” Kelly said sarcastically.

“And apparently, Kamala Harris was too strong a combination, I guess, being black and being a woman. Therefore, that’s why she is the way she is,” she continued. “I mean, okay, tell that to Condoleezza Rice because she hasn’t suffered from any of these problems.”

Kelly Torche Harris

This isn’t the first time Kelly has spoken out against Harris. Last month, Kelly fired back at Harris after the vice president admitted that she was “scared to death” of Donald Trump’s re-election.

“She thinks she’s Rush Limbaugh. She’s not. It’s so obvious,” Kelly said in response. “He’s constantly trying to explain things to people, like he’s talking to a 2-year-old. And look, I talk to my audience about complex things all the time and I never assume anyone understands.” It’s a complex thing. I always give a couple of lines of explanation because people live their lives and don’t follow politics day and night like me. But I don’t treat them as if they were idiots.”

“I have respect for the intelligence of my audience that it deserves because I speak to my audience,” Kelly continued. “They call on SiriusXM all the time, write on MegynKelly.com. She talks to the people who listen to her as if they think they are on the short bus. Forgive me, but she does.

Without stopping there, Kelly went on to say that she feels “insulted” by the way Harris speaks.

“All I hear is insult. My intelligence is insulted. I’m bored with you. I’m offended by you,” Kelly said. “The thing is, it almost makes me think of Oprah. So Oprah was really full of depth when she did that show. But back when I was young and going to law school and you turned on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” you felt something. She gave us the ‘aha moment’.”

“He would have this little slogan where you say, ‘Oh, yeah, that’s something to think about,’ and his team would put it to music and they’d slow down the interaction, and you’d be moved,” Kelly added. “You might think, ‘Oh, I feel inspired.’ He thinks he’s Oprah. He thinks we’ll add some sparkly music. I’ll say it like this, and even though it’s total nonsense, she’ll move people.

This comes as Harris remains incredibly unpopular. Newsweek reported that the latest polls show Harris’ current approval rating at 36.7% as of February 18, while 51.9% of Americans disapprove of her.

Liberals may pretend that Harris is unpopular just because she is a woman of color, but in reality that is not the case at all. In the end, they don’t like Harris because she did a terrible job as vice president, and her gender and her skin color have nothing to do with it!
