The far left New York Times admitted that a growing number of voters look back “more positively” on Donald Trump’s presidency as the Biden administration continues to fail at everything it does.
In an article published Sunday, the Times admitted that voters have a “rosier picture” of Trump’s tenure than Biden, particularly on issues such as immigration, the economy, and law and order.
The newspaper reported:
Views of Donald J. Trump’s presidency have grown more positive since he left office, according to a new New York Times and New York Times poll, strengthening his election case and putting President Biden’s strategy of consider his opponent unfit for the presidency. Siena College.
While memories of Trump’s tumultuous and chaotic administration have not significantly faded, many voters now have a rosier picture of his handling of the economy, immigration and maintaining law and order. Ahead of the 2020 election, only 39% of voters said the country was better off after Trump took office. Now, looking back, nearly half say he made things better during his time as president.
The poll results highlight how a segment of voters has changed their minds about the Trump era, remembering those years as a time of economic prosperity and strong national security.
It goes on to note that more and more voters ultimately believe that Trump’s leadership has been “better for the country” than the current Biden regime.
Many voters still remember Trump as a divisive and polarizing figure, giving him low ratings on race relations and unifying the country. However, a larger share of voters believe Trump’s tenure is better for the country than the current administration, with 42% rating Trump’s presidency as mostly good for the country compared to 25% saying the same of Trump’s Biden. Nearly half say the Biden years were mostly bad for the country.
The article makes no mention of Joe Biden’s catastrophic foreign policy failures. Iran launched a series of drone attacks on Israel on Saturday evening as tensions threatened to boil over across the Middle East.
As Joe Biden went to bed, Trump held a rally in Pennsylvania where he blamed Biden for the ongoing conflict. “I want to say God bless the people of Israel, they are under attack right now, it’s because we show great weakness,” he exclaimed. This wouldn’t happen, the weakness we have shown is incredible and it wouldn’t have happened if we were in power, you know it, they know it and everyone knows it.”
