Trump demonstrated that he will never be a leader by suggesting that Arizona should remedy the reproductive rights crisis he caused.
Trump said: “Yes, they did. This will be clarified. As you know, it’s all about state’s rights. It will be fixed. I’m sure the governor and everyone else will bring the situation back within reason very quickly.
The former president also said he thinks Florida will fix its abortion ban.

Q: “Did Arizona go too far?”

The nation has seen this behavior from Trump before. When the failed former president failed in his response to Covid, he blamed the states and called on them to solve the problem.
Arizona would not have had to correct the state Supreme Court’s decision if Trump had not recklessly given in to the far right and nominated three anti-freedom extremists to serve on the Supreme Court.
Donald Trump is responsible for this crime against American women, and his interpretation that this is a states’ rights issue has already been rejected by voters across the country. Americans don’t want a patchwork abortion policy. The American people want what they had before, which is a coherent national federal policy.
Trump’s lack of leadership is pathetic. He is trying to take credit for getting rid of Roe, without taking any blame for the consequences. Donald Trump is trying to escape what he has done to the majority of Americans in terms of freedom and choice, but it won’t work.
The American people know who is responsible for this tragedy, and in November they will hold Trump accountable.
