THE Joe Biden Saturday’s campaign revealed an impressive $90 million fundraising result for March, fueled by a significant event in New York and continued grassroots support.
By the end of the first quarter of 2024, the campaign had raised a total of $187 million in funding, The Hill reported.
As of the start of the second quarter, he boasts $192 million in cash, a record for a Democratic candidate at this stage of the election cycle.
Campaign officials said that, so far, 1.6 million people have contributed to the campaign, The Hill added.
The campaign’s fundraising surpassed that of former President Trump, whose operation raised about $66 million in March.
As of the end of March, combined funds from the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, which merged after Trump became the presumptive nominee, totaled $93.1 million.
“The money we are raising is historic and will be used for the critical work of building a winning operation, focused solely on the voters who will decide this election: offices across the country, staff in our battleground states, and a meeting with a paid media program. voters where are they,” Biden campaign manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez said in a statement.

The campaign’s cash benefit enabled the opening of more than 100 field offices nationwide and the launch of a $30 million advertising campaign targeting crucial battleground states, the report said.
