Rachel Maddow linked Trump’s desperate need for money with Paul Manafort’s life’s work of spending Russian oligarch money to advance Putin’s interests.
Maddow said:
His purpose in life at that time was to extract money from Russian interests, from pro-Kremlin interests to serve the interests of Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. That was his life’s work.
Paul Manafort announced today that he will return to the Trump campaign again on the same day that Donald Trump also announces that he is out of money and cannot secure bail to pay the half billion court judgment he is owed in a week from Today. . This is a court ruling. It’s not a bank being asked to pay us back. This is a court ruling. If he doesn’t pay, the New York attorney general may start padlocking his buildings and taking everything he owns.
Starting one week from today. Donald Trump has never been more desperately in need of money than he is today, the day it is reported that this guy, with all his baggage, with all his ex-con brilliance, this guy is coming back, the guy who specializes in ‘extract money from Kremlin-aligned interests to serve Vladimir Putin’s long-term goals. I wonder why today of all days is the day we learn that Paul Manafort is returning.

It’s not hard to connect the dots. Trump is broke and suddenly the financier of the Russian oligarchs who advance Putin’s interests returns to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
It’s no coincidence that Manafort returns.
The difference is that Americans have already seen this film. Those paying attention know why Manafort is on Trump’s campaign and what his presence means for America’s national security.
Donald Trump is going through the 2016 program all over again, even relying on Putin’s help to get him into the White House.
