A radio host criticized White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre for being flimsy after she abruptly ended an interview after just a few questions.

WBT radio news director Mark Garrison asked questions about President Biden’s mental acuity and the economy in a clip posted on the social media platform X. Both topics are of extreme interest to American voters.

Jean-Pierre almost immediately disputed the host’s question about whether or not Biden suffers from “dementia.”

“When I told a number of people that I was talking to you today, it was interesting, they all said ‘Would you please just ask, does the president suffer from dementia?’” Garrison said.

Earlier this month, a poll showed that a staggering 6 in 10 American adults doubt the president has the mental acuity to run the country.

Karine Jean-Pierre clearly contested the question, expressing surprise and disgust that the topic had been broached.

“I can’t even believe you’re asking me this question. That’s an incredibly offensive question to ask,” she immediately retorted.

Karine Jean-Pierre can’t manage

The White House press secretary addressed the issue of “dementia” in the same way he often does, suggesting that looking at President Biden’s work is proof that his mind is sound.

“If you really pay attention to his record and what he has done, you will see exactly how much he has focused on the American people,” he said. “How historic were his actions.”

“I won’t even really take the premise of your question. That’s incredibly offensive and we can move on to the next question.”

But it seems she wasn’t ready to move on to the next question.

“Gas prices and food prices,” Garrison begins. “How does Biden get votes when people don’t have as much disposable income?”

Karine Jean-Pierre, duly, blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the price increase and then falsely claimed that the cost of gas and food had fallen. (They’re not. They’re down from the all-time highs Biden ushered in, not since he entered the Oval Office.)

And that’s when he apparently had enough.

“And with that, thank you so much, Mark. Have a great, great day,” he said before cutting off the interview.

The hosts were stunned

After Karine Jean-Pierre ran away, one of the hosts involved simply repeated the word “Wow”.

“You asked three, four incredibly salient and important questions that are all top of mind. Nothing out of bounds,” Garrison’s co-host says.

“I don’t understand the fragility of this person.”

The White House responded to the controversy by accusing the radio station of “dispute manufacturing.”

“As she often does when the president travels, Karine had multiple consecutive interviews with radio stations that were offered seven minutes each,” a statement provided to the Daily Beast explains.

“Once the agreed-upon time was up, he called for the next interview so everyone could have their full time,” he continues. “This particular station chose not to air the entire interview and instead artificially added a sound effect that our phones don’t produce at the end of calls.”

Karine often bristles at questions regarding Biden’s mental health. She even criticized former CNN host Don Lemon for daring to ask such a question.
