House Speaker Mike Johnson is moving forward with a House vote this weekend to send tens of billions overseas.
The $95 billion bill includes aid for Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan and other American allies. Johnson (R-LA) posted on X that the bill would be split into separate votes.
“The text of three bills that will fund America’s national security interests and allies in Israel, the Indo-Pacific, and Ukraine,” Johnson reportedly wrote to other House members.
A fourth vote will consider granting an aid loan to Ukraine, a potential nationwide ban on TikTok, new sanctions on Iran and a measure allowing the president to seize Russian assets that have been frozen and to use them to finance the Ukrainian war effort.
“We passed the Senate supplemental bill and we improved the process and the policy, and that’s a really important thing,” Johnson said. “Every member can vote according to his conscience.”

Rand Paul criticizes Mike Johnson over relief package
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized the foreign aid package on social media. He declares it a “single-party” effort that puts “America last.”
“Speaker Johnson and the Uniparty are united behind their long list of bad ideas,” he wrote. “From borrowing $95 billion from China to send to other countries to eliminating a FISA warrant – they are checking all the boxes to put America last.”
Paul broke down the details of the bill in a subsequent post. These bullet points have led many Americans to wonder why no one seems to care in Washington. Why don’t they care about our citizens’ inability to afford gas and groceries? THE millions of illegal immigrants pouring in Our confine?
The entire package goes to Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific. Most – nearly 64% – go to Ukraine, which has already been the big beneficiary of American taxpayer dollars.
“What do Americans get?” Paul next asks about the relief package supported by President Mike Johnson. “Inflation and wide open borders”.

Biden is enthusiastic
President Biden is practically champing at the bit for the opportunity to sign President Mike Johnson’s relief package.
“I strongly support this package to secure critical support for Israel and Ukraine, provide desperately needed humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, and strengthen security and stability in the Indo-Pacific,” he said.
“I will sign it immediately to send a message to the world: We stand with our friends and will not allow Iran or Russia to succeed.”
The signs are obviously everywhere. Democrats once again seem satisfied with a Republican speaker playing ball to get things done that address the needs of foreign nations.
GOP lawmakers evidently have an unhealthy obsession with being seen as bipartisan rather than doing what their constituents want.
As Paul says, essentially: “What do Americans get?”
Remember when President Trump wanted a few billion to build a border wall to protect America? This amount could easily be thrown into this package. It wouldn’t affect anything and would still be considered the lowest allocated amount in the bill.
But it’s always, always, always, America last, every other nation first. When it will end?
