RFK tells CNN that Biden is “absolutely” a bigger threat to democracy than Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) surprised CNN host Erin Burnett Outnumberedresponding to a question about whether Donald Trump is an “evil” threat to democracy and suggesting that President Biden is, in fact, much “worse.”

“Do you really believe that when people talk about the threat to democracy that Trump poses, that you really think he is as bad as Biden?” Questions from Burnett during Monday’s appearance.

“Listen,” RFK replies. “I can argue that President Biden poses a much worse threat to democracy.”

Burnett’s argument that “people are talking about the threat to democracy”? This is almost exclusively in legacy media.

You’ll notice that Burnett phrases the question as if it were a past conclusion that Trump is evil. Trump is a threat. And the possibility that Kennedy equates Biden with him is a fringe conspiracy theory (“You really think so?”).

Media Bias 101. Framing the topic.

RFK alleges Biden used the federal government to censor his opponents

Although Burnett’s head probably felt like it was about to come off at the idea that RFK would argue that Biden is the greatest threat to democracy, he carefully explained his reasoning for that claim.

The president, he claims, has used the federal government as a weapon against his political opponents. And he did it in the form of censorship of opposing points of view.

“And the reason for that is that President Biden is the first candidate in history, the first president in history who has used federal agencies to censor political speech or censor his opponent,” RFK clarifies.

RFK went on to tell the CNN host that censorship is much worse than questioning the legitimacy of an election.

“The greatest threat to democracy is not someone questioning the election results, but a president of the United States who will use the power of his office to force the social media companies Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, to open a portal and give access to that portal to the FBI, to the CIA, to the IRS, to the NIH, to censor their political critics,” he said.

“Absolutely” a bigger threat

Burnett seems to be beside himself that RFK would suggest such a thing. He therefore asks for clarification.

Why is it so hard for her to believe.

“To be clear, are you saying that you could argue that President Biden is worse for our democracy than Donald Trump?” he asks.

Without hesitation, RFK responds: “Absolutely.”

Say what you want about him, Kennedy’s interview with Burnett is a master class in how to handle a biased media source. He takes the narrative he’s been given and turns it on its head.

Burnett repeatedly presses RFK on the issue. She duty convince him that Trump is the bigger threat. It does not work.

This is why Kennedy is constantly portrayed as an unhinged conspiracy theorist. The media needs you to believe Trump is the threat, but RFK says otherwise. When it came to forced COVID vaccines, the media needed you to believe Theyanyone else was considered crazy.

Both Trump and Biden have sought to distance themselves from RFK for various reasons. Trump has repeatedly stressed that while he has moments of clarity, Kennedy is still a far-left Democrat by any measure.

Polls show that the Kennedy name is having a negative effect on Biden. Democratic voters are turned away by him running as an independent.
