Rick Harrison, of “Pawn Stars” fame, spoke out this week to praise the “incredible” Donald Trump while attacking President Joe Biden’s border policies after his son died of a fentanyl overdose last month at the age of 39 years old.
Harrison praises Trump – rips Biden policies
Harrison, 58, praised Trump for meeting with him after his son’s death and criticized today’s politicians for being “complicit” in the fentanyl deaths that have tragically gripped our nation.
“He is an incredible individual,” Harrison told Fox News of Trump. “He wants to do something about it. There are so many different places you need to start, all at once, but one of the most important is to get the damn stuff out of the country and stop making getting high so cheap.
“My understanding is that it costs about $5 to buy a fentanyl pill,” he continued. “Anyone can afford it. I mean, make it hard. Let’s start arresting the people who sell it, arrest the people who bring it across the border, let’s close the border and make it really expensive. Let’s make death from fentanyl rare.”
“It’s crazy because they’re letting this happen,” Harrison added of the politicians. “They are literally letting it happen. They’re not doing anything about it. So they are complicit in all these deaths.”

Harrison denounces Biden’s “ridiculous” border policies
Although Harrison never mentioned Biden by name, he was quick to criticize the current president’s “absolutely ridiculous” border policies, decrying his administration’s inaction in preventing drugs from entering the United States.
“Nothing is being done,” Harrison complained. “It’s the equivalent of a 737 [airplane] load of passengers crashing every single day. That’s how many people die from it. And you know, politicians don’t want to talk about it. The news doesn’t want to talk about it.”
“A big part of it is politics,” he added. “I mean, we know where everything comes from. Everything is crossing the border and they won’t do anything about it. I mean, they’re not doing anything.
Harrison concluded by attacking Biden’s federal government, which is currently trying to go to court with Texas over the state’s border enforcement efforts.
“Literally, we have a government suing the state saying, ‘No, you can’t block tons of people from coming into this country,’” he said. “We don’t know what they bring with them. And we don’t know what kind of people they are. It is madness. I mean, we just need common sense.
“I think any drug dealer who sells fentanyl, I mean, should at least be charged with manslaughter,” he exclaimed. “Just selling the stuff should be considered attempted murder. I mean, it’s so bad and nothing is done about it.
As for what action Harrison wants to see taken, he called on the government to “close the border” and end the left’s “no bail” rules, while introducing tougher penalties for selling or possessing fentanyl .

The death of Harrison’s son
Harrison’s son Adam, who was not involved in “Pawn Stars,” was found dead Jan. 19 in a Las Vegas-area rooming house. Police found Adam dead in bed with “two vials of a redacted substance next to the mattress,” as well as “a sheet with an unknown pill, lighters and straws of narcotic paraphernalia.”
Harrison said the investigation into his son’s death is ongoing and that he had been struggling with drugs and alcohol for quite some time.
“Over the years, I put him in rehab multiple times,” she recalled. “The best way to put it is to talk about opioids and fentanyl: the devil invented a drug. Here’s what it would be. I mean, he literally turns them into a different person. You don’t even know.”
