Legendary comedian Roseanne Barr, who has long been one of Hollywood’s few openly conservative stars, speaks out this week to praise former President Donald Trump for his “integrity.”
Barr praises Trump’s ‘integrity’
During the interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Saturday, Barr was asked what she thought of Trump as a person and she held nothing back in her response.
“Well, like I always say, he’s the only guy in my Hollywood career who’s ever returned a favor,” Barr, 71, explained. “He IS the only one who has ever returned a favor, and he gave me back more than I gave him.”
“I think he has such integrity. I think he’s a lot like me,” she continued. “He tries to be funny, and he’s really funny. The guy is really funny. He has great timing and I laugh. We all laugh. I mean, we all think he’s funny.

Barr supports Trump
Barr has long been one of the few celebrities to publicly support Trump, as she refused to apologize for voting for him in both 2016 and 2020. In November last year, Barr revealed when she first met Trump.
“I lost control of myself,” Barr admitted, adding that he quickly calmed his nerves. “He rearranged my arms so gently.”
Barr eventually hugged Trump before telling him, “we all love you and praying for you, we know you’re the only one with balls,” according to Newsweek. She then paid Trump the “great compliment” by describing him as a “mama bear.”
“A papa bear, they’ll go out and kill everyone else. That’s a thing and it’s cool. But Trump embraces us,” she explained.
Asked what advice he would give Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Barr responded: “Laugh a little more. Have some more fun and try to relax a little. More than you. And you know, pray a little more. Feel the love of people a little more. And I think this will fix it.

Barr campaigns for Trump
The Daily Mail reported that Barr told Trump supporters in Iowa in January that it was up to them to “save the country” by voting for the former president.
“We are all very proud of you because you have decided that you, as Iowa Republicans, are going to save our country and we know you can do it,” he said at the time. “We know that you are the only people in the entire country who have the wisdom and the ability to do this, the strength and the know-how to do it.”
“We’re so close to winning and, you know, we can say we’re so close to winning and … over the mark because of the way they’re attacking us and the man we choose to represent as Donald Trump,” he said . he continued. “We know how these attacks are escalating.”
Barr went on to urge conservatives not to give up, saying, “fight like there is no tomorrow. If he doesn’t win and we don’t get him back, then tomorrow will be very, very dark.”
Because Hollywood can’t stand conservative women, Barr has been targeted by cancel culture many times over the years, yet she refuses to go away quietly. God bless her for continuing to stand by Trump and campaigning for him with everything she has!
