Sen. Katie Britt’s (R-AL) State of the Union rebuttal joined the GOP’s weird hall of fame as sounding like a Stepford Wife.
Britt’s videos:
Katie Britt sounds like a Stepford senator as Republicans continue to screw up with their rebuttals: “President Biden just doesn’t get it. He is no longer in touch with his administration, families are worse off, our communities are less safe.” pic.twitter.com/h0zyykz58t

Britt tried to claim that President Biden was out of touch because he appeared to have taken too much of that Xanax that Trump was handing out to anyone and everyone from the White House pharmacy.
The remarks were disturbing because his facial expressions and tone of voice did not match the words he was saying.
For example, Britt smiles as she talks about how American families are suffering:

It all got totally creepy when Britt tried to scare America about immigration by adopting an otherworldly ghost-like tone of voice:

Britt was actually trying to use the voice of the fundamentalist Christian woman. If you’ve ever watched 19 Kids and Counting, you’ve heard Michelle Duggar use that voice. President Mike Johnson’s wife used that voice.
Here is the real voice of Katie Britt:

He should have used his real voice. She was not going to scare America and completely distract the country from what she was saying.
It has become an annual tradition for Republicans to whip out some weirdo they claim is a rising star and kill their career with a bizarre SOTU rebuttal.
Katie Britt may have had a future once, but now she’ll be an SNL sketch.
