Stephen Colbert managed to insert a joke about Trump’s racism and the KKK into his monologue.
Colbert was talking about Trump falling asleep in court when he said:
Once the trial began, reporters noted that Trump appeared to fall asleep a few times, with his mouth slack and his head bowed to his chest. In fact, his lawyer passed him notes for several minutes before Trump seemed to wake up with a start and notice them. “As! Oh my God, I was having the most terrible dream where I had to read something. Oh no! The dream was real! But if that’s true, then where’s the burger with the whores?”

Never forget what Trump’s brand is and who he is targeting. His rants about immigration aren’t actually about immigrants coming to the United States. Trump targets immigrants who have a certain skin color. If there were a wave of white British immigrants coming to the United States, call it a British invasion, the former president wouldn’t be so out of shape.
Racism is the brand, and everyone from late-night network comedians to everyday Americans must stand together against what Trump is selling.
