Stephen Colbert rejoices in Trump’s glorious truth, failure of social action

Stephen Colbert relished the crash and fire of Trump’s Truth Social stock, which cost him billions of dollars.

Colbert said:

Between the $175 million Trump committed in this case and the $91 million in the E. Jean Carroll case, Trump somehow still poured in far less money this week than he lost on Wall Street. Because Truth Social reportedly just lost $4 billion in value in one week.

Oh. I’m actually surprised that Truth Social had any value. The decline occurred after Truth Social reported a $58 million loss in 2023. Coincidentally, Trump just announced the release of the “Kid Rock bible ba-wida-ba, da-bang, da-bang” worth 58 million dollars. Contains the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Declaration of Independence, and Kid Rock’s family recipe for meth. Ba-wida-ba?

All right. Things aren’t going to get better anytime soon. This morning, the stock opened at $48, down 39% from the stock’s March 26 high of $79.38. Truly a historic failure. No one has seen such a great loss since the Trump Taj Mahal, the Trump Plaza Hotel, Trump Steaks, Trump Airlines, Trump University and Trump, Eric.

Trump’s truth The social losses are not surprising because from the day the venture was announced everyone knew it was a pump and dump scam. However, at this rate, all the gains and paper wealth Trump appeared to have gained may evaporate before Donald Trump can cash in.

Colbert was right. Failure is Trump’s mark, and anyone who invests in anything bearing Trump’s name will get what they deserve.
