US stocks rose on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones index gaining about 50 points.

Shares of Tesla Inc TSLA rose sharply during Tuesday’s session after reports suggested Italy turned to the company to produce electric trucks.

Numerous reports highlight new news from Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, suggesting that officials from Italy’s Ministry of Industry have contacted Tesla regarding potential production of electric trucks in the country.

Tesla shares rose 5.8% to $182.65 on Tuesday.

  • Reddit Inc RDDT gained 15.8% to $69.26 amid post-IPO volatility.
  • Canopy Growth Corp CGC shares rose 15.6% to $7.17.
  • Invivyd Inc IVVD gained 15.2% to $3.72 after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $4 to $10.
