The inflation rate in the euro area fell to 2.4% y/y in March; unemployment rate unchanged (EUR:USD)

• The inflation rate in the Eurozone fell to 2.4% year-on-year in March from 2.6% in February.
• On a monthly basis, the consumer price index increased 0.8% in March.
• Core consumer prices increased 2.9% in March compared to the same month a year earlier.
• Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in the Eurozone remained unchanged at 6.5% in February.
