The liberal media claims Biden has a “silver lining” on illegal immigration because there are more workers

Illegal immigration is good

America’s southern border is out of control. Under the leadership of Joe Biden, 7.2 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States.

But Axios wants you to know there’s a silver lining to this border chaos.

Seriously. And on the “silver lining” are two things that directly harm Americans.

The arrival of illegal immigrants “helps reduce inflation”

Axios reports: “Immigrants are coming to the rescue of employers struggling with a historically tight job market, and their arrival is helping reduce inflation.”

It does? At least one group says the “true” unemployment rate is above 23%. It must be remembered that unemployment should include all those who are unemployed of working age.

But the inflation statement is even worse. If millions of people are added in a short time, competing to buy the same goods as Americans, prices will not fall. Fifth graders might understand this, but journalists can’t?

“Foreign-born workers now make up nearly 19% of the workforce, up from 17.3% when President Biden took office,” the report notes.

“According to a recent analysis from the Congressional Budget Office,” Axios noted, “the recent surge in unauthorized migrants is a key factor in the forecast of 1.7 million additional workers in 2024. “These new arrivals will help the economy American economy to grow by approximately $7 trillion over the next decade.”

Will 1.7 million illegal immigrants create $7 trillion in wealth in 10 years? At this rate, each illegal alien will create $4 million in wealth over a decade. If there were 7.2 million illegal immigrants, the economy would grow by 296,470,590,000,000,000,000!

The story continued:

In the country, there are still more than 3 million migrants encountered at the southern border during the Biden presidency.

An additional million have arrived through ports of entry through new Biden programs that rely on the extensive use of parole, a legal mechanism that allows visa-free migrants to enter the United States

An additional 3.7 million people entered the United States through other legal routes, with the ability to work, according to administration estimates.

Some of these newcomers are tracked by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which counts another 3 million foreign-born workers in the workforce under Biden.

They are trying to argue that, other than those in the United States, illegal immigration is somehow a good thing. Also useful.

The report adds: “Don’t expect Biden to take the podium to highlight the link between increased immigration and lower inflation, according to aides and advisers.”

You think?

Remember, this is the same news source that told us the southern border is more “fortified” than ever.

Sorry Axios, mass invasions are bad, not good

This is real mental gymnastics.

A president cannot preside over what amounts to a mass invasion of his own country and then everyone can pretend that this is somehow a social and economic good.

His administration won’t “run to the podium” to “highlight” because even Democrats understand how ridiculously crazy that sounds.

No, Joe Biden will have to maintain his record this year, and his great failure to secure our border will be no small part of that.
