Cunningham was asked, “Who will you vote for, Joe?”
He replied: who will I vote for? Well yes. Well, No Labels itself is a C4 organization that does not advocate for or against political candidates. We were simply ensuring access to the polls.β
Cunningham was asked again who he would vote for and he replied: βMe as a person? I would vote for Biden instead of Trump.”
The candidacy of a third party No Labels died because they could not find a credible candidate willing to run in the 2024 elections and help Trump by taking votes away from Joe Biden, and when push came to shove the national director of No Labels admitted that he as a person will vote for Joe Biden.
The threat of a third party spoilering and returning Trump to the White House is probably an overstated possibility. For example, as the general electorate learns more about RFK Jr., he will likely fade away.
Many in the world of political chatter were concerned about No Labels, and with the organization out of the presidential race, the threat of a potential spoiler party aiding Trump has diminished.
