Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took a shot at Democrats, suggesting that a study of scientists growing a pair of testicles in a lab could be a sign of hope for his colleagues.
In fact, researchers at Israel’s Bar-Ilan University have grown “laboratory testes” in the hope that such an advance could help with male infertility.
“The tiny artificial organs, produced from cells extracted from mouse testes, are said to resemble the structure and function of natural mouse testes,” reports the New York Post.
The publication notes that the researchers “aim to develop human-like testes from human stem cells to help treat sexual developmental disorders and infertility.”
Cruz shared the development on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and promptly neutralized a political party.
“There is hope for Democrats,” he wrote.

Personally, I’m not sure what Cruz is trying to imply here.
Just because Democrats are the party that has no idea what a woman is because they aren’t biologists, or the party that wants to regulate sperm for men because they don’t know how babies are made, doesn’t mean they need lab testicles.
Sheesh.
In fact, the brutal takedown was so effective that some X users responded by harking back to Cruz’s days in Zodiac Killer. (Note to fact-checkers: yes, we are aware that he is not actually the ZK).
Newsmax host Eric Bolling thought Cruz’s joke was so good that he was at a loss for words, opting only to respond with a series of crying laughing emojis.

NOT his wildest burn
While it’s certainly a solid effort, this actually isn’t the wildest takedown we’ve seen from Cruz in recent years. This distinction is due to a dig he made against Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in 2022.
Warren claimed in a book that she did not win the 2020 Iowa Caucuses and subsequently the Democratic nomination for president because she is not a man, also claiming that some voters told her they would support her if “she had a penis. “
Keep dreaming, Liz. If they can grow testes in the lab, maybe one day they’ll be able to add a penis to the old petri dish.
Cruz responded to Warren’s statement with what might be an all-time hilarious response.
“Elizabeth Warren told reporters that a boy approached her and said, ‘I would have voted for you if only you had a penis,’” she told a crowd of supporters.
“In today’s Democratic Party, how do we know he doesn’t? How would you know?” she joked.

In addition to providing hope for Democrats, the potential of lab-grown testicles could also provide hope for the Republican Party.
They have been little more than feckless eunuchs, banding together with Democrats to approve spending and provide foreign aid while ignoring the crisis at the border.
Maybe one day they will grow a cult and do what they were elected to do, stop the democratic party from destroying America. Unfortunately, such powerful technology is probably a long, long way off.
