On Saturday, Kash Patel discussed the latest news from the Daily Mail that Liz Cheney and members of the January 6th Committee threatened former Defense Secretary Chris Miller after he told Sean Hannity on FOX News that Trump had requested 20,000 National Guard troops at the U.S. Capitol in January. 6.
The Hannity interview took place on FOX News in 2023.
The request was later rejected by insurrectionist Nancy Pelosi and D.C. Mayor Bowser. Why? Has it never been explored? And why would Pelosi request a film crew instead?

Kash Patel: That was the truth. Donald Trump wanted to prevent any insurrection narrative and any actual insurrection and he did that. Soon after that authorization, Pelosi and Bowser rejected the request for National Guard Men and Women, and now we’ve got them. And what’s worse, Steve, is the cover-up of corruption by these government gangsters.
The January 6th Committee that preached to America about equality before the law and seeking the truth, last week, we found suppressed evidence of Donald Trump’s innocence in the testimony of Tony Ornato. And now, what do we do? What do we do now? They threatened a cabinet secretary, the former Defense Secretary, in office that day, with legal attempts to bury him with legal fees and investigate him, if he dared to reveal the truth.
Just think about it. A congressional committee led by Liz Cheney and funded by our taxpayers actually threatened the Secretary of Defense. Steve, I think they did that to the media too. They have threatened them with lawsuits and subpoenas if they dare reveal the truth, all for one point, because it buries the truth about the insurrection narrative they have spread there.
There was no insurrection. Donald Trump is innocent. Now we have a real legal war by a congressional committee against a former cabinet secretary, I think against others, and I think against media organizations as well.
Steve Bannon: This is scandalous because in Colorado they are using that committee as a pretext. They just take the commission’s dossier and say, Oh, Trump is an insurrectionist because Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and Benny Thompson said so. And a bit of Jamie Raskin, the worst of the worst. And they just read it in the minutes and that’s it. When will we prosecute this committee, sir?
Kash Patel: Well, maybe they should start reading this great article from the Daily Mail, which, by the way, I think it’s part of a multi-part piece that’s coming. There’s more to this. The story is not over. A headline alone would be the story of the year about the threat of legal action to a cabinet secretary for daring to reveal the truth. What What members of Congress need to do is start suing every single member of that committee.
