There’s a crisis between Iran and Israel in the Middle East, but Trump is melting away for his criminal trial in Manhattan.
Trump posted on Truth Social:
Judge Juan Merchan, perhaps the most embattled judge in the history of New York State, gave us only a short period of time to read and study hundreds of thousands of pages of documents that District Attorney Alvin Bragg illegally withheld from us, disguised it’s hidden. Of course, and as the judge knows, we need much more time. They could have started this fake Biden trial many years ago, not right in the middle of my presidential campaign, and time would not have been an issue. This is a blatant and unprecedented attack on the political opponent of the dishonest Joe Biden (who is leading in every poll!), done in close coordination with the White House, and it cannot be allowed to go forward!
This is the kind of “leadership” America could expect from Trump on the world stage if he returned to the White House. The former president demonstrates once again that he has no interest in actually doing the job required of the presidency.

Trump is racing to avoid a criminal conviction and prison time, and what mental bandwidth he has left is dedicated to attacking cases or trying to get rid of the criminal charges he’s facing.
Israel will reportedly respond to Iranian drone/missile launches against its country. The Middle East is in crisis. The world needs a president of the United States, like President Joe Biden, not a criminal defendant capable of thinking only of himself.
