Trump became angry at a reporter who asked him if he would be willing to spend money on his campaign now that his fraud bond has been reduced.
Trump was asked if he would spend money on his campaign and he responded with a myriad of lies:
First of all, it’s frankly none of your business. But I could do it. I have the option. If I had to spend $500 million on a bond, I wouldn’t have that option.
I should start selling things. I don’t have to sell anything because it’s a phenomenal company. I’ve built a phenomenal company. One day they will actually report it. I’ve built a phenomenal company with very low debt, incredibly low debt with a lot of cash and a lot of everything else.

Why would I let a corrupt judge make the decision to get $450 million? This allows me to spend very little on my campaign if I want. I could spend a lot of money on my combination. But I should have this option. A corrupt judge shouldn’t say we’re going to make you post bond and take all the money I might spend on the campaign or other things if I want to do other things. So today we were confirmed by the professionalism of the opinion. I thought it was very… I think it’s a very important opinion for New York. The only thing that will really solve the problem is when I win, because you have to win. No company will come to New York if I don’t win that case. That case is a scam, it’s a farce and a hoax.
Video:
Everything Trump said above was a lie. Trump is still committing the same type of fraud he was found guilty of. Trump is lying about the status of his company and the value of his assets. The former president claimed to have a lot of money, but also admitted that if the bond remained at $454 million, he would have to start selling, this is perhaps the only true statement he has made in the entire Press conference.
What is this?
Is Trump so flush with cash that he could pay off the bond and spend on his campaign, or is he so broke that he was going to have to start selling properties?
Both things cannot be true at the same time.
Donald Trump has never spent money on his presidential campaigns. His campaign fundraising is struggling and it doesn’t matter that his bail for fraud has been reduced to zero. Trump won’t spend his own money on the campaign.
