If you turned on the TV on Monday afternoon, you couldn’t escape the media coverage of the solar eclipse. Virtually every news network covered it for hours. It’s been a hot topic for most of the day.
Knowing this would happen, the Trump campaign released a hilarious eclipse-themed ad. You can watch it below.
Obviously the commercial was supposed to be funny, but the liberal media can’t admit it, so they pretend not to get the joke.

The media reaction to Trump’s solar eclipse ad is something else
All too predictably, major media outlets full of joyless liberals responded by attacking the ad as “bizarre” and saying Trump was “plunging the United States into darkness.” In short, the obtuseness, feigned or real, of their interpretations betrays the fact that there is still nothing Trump can do not to arouse the indignation of liberals.

In a bizarre new commercial, Donald Trump’s head takes the place of the moon and blocks out the sun in a nod to Monday’s solar eclipse.
After getting the talking points and marching orders, The Independent joined the pile-on and even used the word “bizarre” to describe the ad:
On Sunday evening, Trump released a bizarre election ad on Truth Social in which his head takes on the role of the moon, blocking out the sun and plunging America into total darkness.
Many normal people understood the joke without any problems.
