Vice President Kamala Harris gets straight to Israel on Gaza

Speaking in Alabama, Vice President Kamala Harris struck a tougher tone toward Israel, while calling for more aid to Gaza and an immediate ceasefire.

Vice President Harris stated in Selma, AL:

They have to open new border crossings. They must not impose unnecessary restrictions on the provision of aid. They must ensure that humanitarian personnel, sites and convoys are not targeted. The vice president also called for an immediate ceasefire: “Given the immense scale of suffering in Gaza, there must be an immediate ceasefire.”
