Immigration
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey (D) became emotional during a virtual meeting where she discussed converting a recreation center in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood to house illegal immigrants.
The Melnea A. Cass Recreation Complex is described as a “large indoor arena for year-round fun” for the “whole family.”
But that fun will be put on hold for a while.
Healey, in a letter to state and city officials earlier this week, confirmed his administration’s plan to convert the recreation center into an overflow site to house illegal immigrants currently overflowing at Logan International Airport.
Roxbury has been described as the “heart of black culture in Boston.”

Dem Governor Healey cries for the children who will now be kicked out of the recreation center
There was a time in America when recreation centers were the key to keeping kids active and off the streets. Now, in Roxbury, it’s more important to keep illegal immigrants active and off the streets.
Children be damned. (Isn’t it strange that they opted for a recreation center in a predominantly black neighborhood instead of a facility on, say, Martha’s Vineyard?)
Governor Healey, speaking at a recent meeting to discuss the move, fought back tears. For children, of course!
“I get emotional, guys,” Healey said while crying. “I am committed to this.”
“Young children need to be able to breathe clean air,” he continued. “They must be able to access swimming pools. They need lifeguards there who can teach them to swim and they need activities. I don’t know what we’ll do for a couple, three months. I’ll call universities, I’ll call other places.

Healey We wanted people to host uncontrolled aliens in their homes
Watching that video, some obvious questions arise for Governor Healey. The first is: why the crocodile tears about how the children will suffer and you throw them out anyway in favor of illegal aliens?
The second is: “will you call universities” and “other places” now? Why didn’t you do this from the beginning instead of your first choice: ruining the recreational activities of kids and their families?
The answer to both questions, of course, is that you prioritize illegal immigrants over children.
The Boston Herald reported on a track and field club in the recreation center where kids, every Saturday morning, “run around, throw a javelin or discus and bond with their friends.”
Not anymore.
The club’s permit was revoked and the club treasurer explained: “At first we didn’t understand the reason, then we learned of the plan to use the Cass to host migrants.”
Literally revoke permits for a kids’ club to allow illegal adults to invade the center without permission or documents of any kind.
Governor Healey’s decision to convert the Melnea A. Cass Recreation Complex has sparked protests in the neighborhood.

Healey called out the National Guard to combat the illegal immigrant crisis in Massachusetts in September and asked private citizens of the Bay State to consider housing illegal immigrants in their homes.
“The new families coming into our communities are wonderful human beings,” she said. “They are ready to work. They are ready to contribute to our economies.”
Now they’re ready to play, and the kids of Roxbury will just have to suck it up until at least May.
